Late Twenties (2007-2012)
These are a number of songs I wrote starting near the end of Red Penguin and through the Noir City years, that had nothing to do with either band project. I moved to the Portland, OR area in mid-2008, and played regularly with my new band Noir City. Between work and my band, I still found time to write and record on my own, and take an online music production class through Berklee.
This is a little improvisational guitar noodling I did over a backing track of Joe Satriani's song, "God is Crying." This is from sometime in 2012.
Beginning in 2010 I was also working on the sound editing and music for Ambrosia, and by 2011 I was writing material that would eventually find its way onto my next album, Empire of Lies. Below are some of the songs I wrote in this period that didn’t make it onto any albums or into any live shows.
