Early Twenties (Late 2003 - April 2005)

After the release of Photon Life in 2003 I continued to write and record, sometimes collaborating with other musicians. I spent a lot of time at the Digital Cup, my family’s Internet Cafe, writing and jamming. I took some of my first highly cringey forays into writing lyrics and recording vocals, while I continued to improve as a guitarist and producer. Some of this became music for Red Penguin, which was formed in 2005. During this time I transitioned away from the DS-1 to using a Hughes & Kettner Tubeman Preamp, which I also ran my bass through in the clean channel. Below is a playlist with some of the music I worked on in this period.
